EPCAS 2010 - Working Conference

We are pleased to invite you to the 5th EPCAS Working Conference. This Working Conference will be held from the 31st of January till the 2nd of February 2011 in Maastricht, The Netherlands. We like to welcome you at the formal opening dinner in the Roman cellars of Derlon Hotel Maastricht on Monday evening the 31st of January.

One day of this year’s summit of the Working Conference will be organized simultaneously with the 1st BeNeLux Party Caterers Congress, an initiative of EPCAS. This congress day will be held on the 1st of February and the chosen theme is ‘Hospitality in Sports; the Champions League’. “How are sports venues managed?” “What is the impact of hospitality during worldwide sporting events?” Those are questions we are curious to know and would like to get answered. Several international keynote speakers will talk about their experiences and show their best practices. One of the other speakers, expert Arjan de Boer from `Shoot my Food’, will talk about the challenge they had with building the first global system to spot developments across food retail and foodservice. He will present the latest food trends worldwide.

In the evening you will be invited in the Bonbonnière, the old theatre in the city centre of Maastricht. A superb location which is turned into an event location. A walking dinner will be organized and opened by mr. Toine Manders, member of the European Parliament. Afterwards you are invited at the traditional Clupmep Party, where about 750 hospitality colleagues will be present.

Wednesday the 2nd of February is particularly reserved for EPCAS matters and a few internal best practices. Together we will share our latest trends, challenges and experiences and work on topics like the Facts & Figures and the Code of Conduct. In addition we will present the refreshed interactive EPCAS website.

In the recent months the EPCAS Board visited a lot of potential EPCAS participants abroad and invited them to attend the EPCAS Working Conference. As you can see on the guest list we have had a lot of positive reactions and we believe many of them will be present to become

acquainted with EPCAS.
